American Scholars Symposium: 9/11 + The Neo-Con Agenda Sheraton Downtown, Los Angeles, CA Conference Update
infowars.com | June 25, 2006 Comment: Infowars.com is just off the phone with Alex, who confirms the conference has been a huge success. C-SPAN covered part of the event (which it will rebroadcast several times this week), and various mainstream media outlets turned out to cover the event. This reuters story just broke, and, although they spin it in the predictable "conspiracy theorists" way, they do acknowledge the Zogby poll and put forth several important facts about September 11. Anyone looking for spin, please note this paragraph in the Reuter's article: "The theories, derided by critics as wild and far-fetched, have mostly been confined to the Internet, talk radio and the alternative press." We are glad to see that Reuters has taken note of such networks as CNN and such programs as Hannity and Combes' now "alternative press" status. Thanks to everyone who has helped to get the word out, the mainstream is being forced more and more to cover the majority, based-in-fact conviction that 9/11 was an inside job. Here is the Reuter's story, which is running, at least for now, mostly
in publications abroad (big surprise):

International Coverage of LA 9/11 Conference Shows US Media Bias infowars.com | June 26, 2006
Only one of the outlets that has carried the story, the Turkish Zaman, unspun the Reuters "Conspiracy Theorists" headline, running a more realistic and appropriate, "Different Theories on September 11 Discussed in the US." The South African Independent slightly altered the Reuters headline to, "Bush under fire by 9/11 conspiracy theorists." The controlled mainstream American press has once again revealed its determination to quash the American public's majority conviction that there is a huge cover-up going on around what really happened on September 11. It is a sad commentary on the state of the American press that while hundreds of articles have appeared recently on Charlie Sheen's new girlfriend and love life, including one today in the New York Times about his divorce deposition, none that we can find has written anything about Sheen's courageous, revolutionary appearance and speech at the the 9/11 conference (several outlets did run the press release that we put out on prnewswire about the event). Of course, C-SPAN's coverage of the events, as well as the many network television stations, including MTV's, that did cover the event demonstrate that the mainstream in the US is realizing that the American public demands and deserves more realistic coverage of the 9/11 truth movement. We'll be keeping out eyes on the American press' coverage of the event and will keep you posted as this story develops.. here is a screenshot of this morning's google of "Alex Jones." Not that the results for the Reuters story are all in foreign outlets. Yahoo did run our press release. infowars.com | June 26, 2006
